My career as a professional faux painter began in the early 1980's in the graphic arts as a sign painter, but my strong interest in the fine arts lead me to a long lasting career in "Decorative Painting", that to this day I find deeply satisfying and rewarding. My career as a decorative painter began by doing murals in private homes, business and schools. I later expanded into doing faux finishes, furniture painting and cabinet refinishing. Outside of my business, I have enjoyed working with fine arts and have a significant collection of portraits, still life paintings and spiritually themed work.

For over thirty years, I have been collaborating with homeowners, business owners, and interior designers to meet their individual needs and aesthetic style. I became aware very early in my career that besides artistic ability, collaborating with clients is a skill that is paramount in the decorative painting arts. With every project there are at least three participants, and sometimes, many more. Being open and accepting to the aesthetic tastes of everyone concerned is very important to me and always ensures the success of each and every project. This adaptability and open creativity has been the reason why my clients seek me out for future projects and refer me to others.
